Growing Up STEM powered by PNC, is a free Penn State PRO Wellness program that provides elementary school classrooms STEM lessons taught by our staff. Lessons focus on making connections between learning and healthcare careers while exploring topics that engage students between Kindergarten and 3rd grade. All lessons align with education standards.

How much will it cost my school/classroom to participate?
It is 100% FREE to participate.

Does my school need to provide any supplies or materials?
No, all supplies and worksheets will be provided by PRO Wellness.

Which schools can participate?
Schools located in Dauphin, Lancaster, Perry, York and Cumberland counties may be eligible. Priority will be given to high-need schools as determined by free and reduced lunch status. We encourage you to email us or register if you would like to participate and we will let you know if you are eligible.

What topics do the lessons focused on?
Topics address preventing the spread of germs, healthy eating, and body systems such as the respiratory system, digestive system, nervous system and more!

Will the lessons be taught in-person or virtually?
We offer the lessons through in-person formats.
