Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) opportunities foster crucial connections between the classroom and the real-world in childhood education. With this is in mind, PNC and Penn State PRO Wellness have teamed up to develop and implement STEM-based lessons focused on the biomedical field for elementary students in grades K-3.
Our team is offering Pennsylvania elementary schools the opportunity to expand their STEM education efforts by providing free, engaging learning activities with diverse, expert guest speakers from our Penn State faculty and staff. Lessons are designed with attention to breaking down stereotypes that prevent children from pursuing their career dreams.
